1984 commemorative knife #43 of 2000 made by Western Cutlery Company in cooperation with the Coleman Company. Mint condition bowie knife w/ tang marking WESTMARK U.S.A. 701. 10" Over all length w/ 5.5" blade. The handle is genuine stag w/ brass guard. The design etched on the front of the blade is an outdoor scene, artwork by noted outdoor wildlife illustrator Russ Buzzell. The other side of the blade celebrates the founders of Two Great Names In The Great Outdoors (Sheldon Coleman and Harvey Platts). The knife is in a presentation case with glass front and red velvet lined body. There is a working, locking latch and the lower left corner of the top is marked in the wood with the logos of both companies. $525.00 price includes shipping and insurance.
