Miles City Saddlery Company – Coggshall #66

Description

This saddle is from 1909 and has two of the renowned maker stamps which read "Miles City Saddlery Co. / Miles City, Mont. / Makers / Original Coggshall Saddles".  The saddle is a classic Miles City 13" saddle that is double rigged indicating it has had some restoration and I believe only the upper part of the saddle and perhaps the stirrups are original.  Tree is sound and sheepskin is very nice.  It depicts and represents one of the finest and oldest saddlery companies ever to exist.  A great collectible saddle from Miles City, Montana!
